She is survived by: her children, Valerie Cornelison of Guntersville, AL, Wendell Gwathney of Guntersville, AL, William Gwathney Jr. of Guntersville, AL and Major Lee Gwathney (Lateshia) of Guntersville, AL; her sisters, Jeanette Green of Gadsden, AL, Linda Dobbins of Douglas, AL and Edna Butler of Arab, AL; and her grandchildren, Jimmy Lawayne Brown, Timothy Ray Gwathney Jr., Alicia Lashea Gwathney, Jennifer Nicole Gwathney and Makayla Gwathney. She is also survived by 3 step grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
