She was predeceased by: her husband Dolphus Holmes; her parents, Charlie Eidson and Ruby Eidson; and her siblings, Billy, Bobby Eidson, Betty Harbison, Merlene Abbott and Ann Eidson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Tate (David), Nancy Breitenstein (Terry) and Kim Chapman (Mike); her sister Virginia Ledbetter; her sister-in-law Theresa Holmes (Shirley Eidson Coad); her grandchildren, Matthew Breitenstein (Brittany), Meredith Breitenstein, Corbitt Tate (Heather), Steven Tate (Caroline), Daniel Chapman (Jamie) and Clayton Chapman; her great grandchildren, Noah Breitenstein, Olivia Breitenstein, Luke Breitenstein, Finley Tate, Hudson Tate, Cobb Tate and Ada Tate; and her caregivers, Melissa Stephens, Gail Griffin and Linda Dendy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to East Gardendale Baptist Church.
