He is survived by: his wife Christine Carr; his sons, Alan Carr (Helen) and Kyle Carr (Shayna); his siblings, Tommie Ivey, Dean Wells, Audrey Burns, Tevis Carr and Charles Carr; his parents, Forest Carr and Flora Belle Carr; his son Lamarr Carr; and his sisters, Mozel Carr, Cora Bell Beasley, Sylvia Link and Syble Farmer. He is also survived by Grandchildren: 10 Greatgrandchildren.
