He is survived by: his wife Teresa Elaine Barksdale; his children, Laurene Barksdale, Trulie Barksdale of Fyffe, Joshua Barksdale (Katherine) of Ft. Payne and Matthew Barksdale of Fyffe; his mother Lila Barksdale of Fyffe; his siblings, Pam Whisenant of Gallant, Regina Parris (Johnny) of Fyffe and Kevin Barksdale (Ann) of Grove Oak; and his grandchildren, Oaklyn and Hollis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
