She is survived by: her husband James Marvin Hancock; her children, Becky Gable (Jimmy), Regina Pritchett, Michael Hancock (Paula), Steven Hancock (Kristy) and Tonya Marsh (Eddie); and her siblings, Amos McWhorter, Melvin McWhorter, William McWhorter, Judy Tidmore, Mitzie Downer and Sybil Thacker. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
