He is survived by: his wife Edna Bowman of Fyffe, AL; his children, Eddy Bowman (Shelley Billy Bowman) and Tammy Bowman Campbell (Howard Shannon Bowman); his siblings, Gerald Bowman (Lamesa) and Teresa Bowman; his parents, James Bowman and Louvennie Hollaway Bowman; his son Gary Shannon Bowman; and his sisters, Lexie Bowman, Stacie McInnes and Odessa Guffey. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren 19 Great Grandchildren.
