He is survived by: his wife Shirley Dean Knowles; his children, Melinda Easler (Jake), Belinda Bullock (Daniel), Carla Moody (Randy), Lisa Elkins, Amanda Phillips, Lavern Hawkins (Charlie), Shina Warren (Chuck), Ashley Renae Elkins, Summer Ann Gabriel Elkins, Aaron Knowles, Adam Knowles, Billy Carl Jones, Jr., Jack Jones, Bobby DeWayne Knowles and Nathan Hamrick (Samantha); and his brother Billy Knowles. He is also survived by 43 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
