He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Cassie and Sallie Gaines McKinley; his wife Molly Carolyn Daniels; his children, Linda Gail, Larry Gaines and Elizabeth Kay; his close friend Red Oliver; his sons-in-law, Kenneth Gardner and Bruce Long; his grandchildren, Stacey Lee Gardner (Tracy), Jamie Alys Long Payne (Chad), Chase Anderson Long (Ryan McKinley Long) and Emilee; his great grandchildren, William Douglas Payne, McKinley Elizabeth Gardner, Cassie McKinley Payne, McKinley Ryan Long, Anderson Vance Payne and Christa James Long; his sisters, Florence Cumbie and Inez Metts; and his sister-in-law Velma House. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews; and grand nieces and nephews; and great grand nieces and nephews.
