She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Miller "Buck" and Audrey Culpepper Hicks; her granddaughter Audrey Nicole Holland; and her sisters, Joyce Hicks and Martha Stephenson.
She is survived by: her husband Herman Cooper; her children, Kim Stone and Mark Leon Cooper (Marla); her grandchildren, Courtney Stone and Eric Holland (Emily); and her great grandchild Olivia Claire Holland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
