He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas and Mattie Bell Young Henegar; his wife Laura Josephine "Jo" Hall; and his siblings, Willie White, Ida Bell Rogers, Lena Mae McBryar, Obie Henegar, Donald Henegar, Loyd Henegar, Raymond Henegar, Calvin Henegar and Ralph Henegar.
He is survived by: his children, David Henegar (Vicki) and Karen Griffin (Scott); and his grandchildren, Rachel Burton Mehravari (Peter), Jordan Erika Walthall, Caitlin Austin (Dylan) and Brenna Brummal (Wilson). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
