She was predeceased by: her husband William Arthur Cannon; her parents, Era Jane McCaleb and W. O. McCaleb; her sister Carol McCaleb Howell; her brother-in-law Eugene Howell; her grandparents, Frankie Hubbert, Jack and Lula McCaleb; her niece Debbie Howell Porter; and her nephew Eddie Mack Howell.
She is survived by: her sister Patricia Stripling (Terry) of Fayette; and her nieces, Julia Howell Concord, Susan Howell Reynolds, Tina Stripling McGuff and Lori Stripling Nichols. She is also survived by 11 great nieces and nephews, 21 great-great nieces and nephews.
