He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Jo Parrish; and his grandparents, Ottie, Vista White, Rufus and Eula Smith.
He is survived by: his father Raymond Smith; his siblings, Joey Smith (Debbie), JoAnn Keeton (Amos), Angie Mordecai (Jason) and Lisa Smith (Marcus Cannon); his stepbrother Rex Parrish; and his nieces and nephews, Blake Smith, Aaron Mordecai, Andrew Mordecai, Marcus Cannon, Jr., Marshawn Cannon, Jodi Kemp and Alisha Cannon. He is also survived by 5 great nephews and nieces.
