He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Bell Pitts; his son Eric Omar Pitts; his parents, Chester Pitts and Maggie Pitts; his brother Randall Pitts; his sister-in-law Patsy; his sister Eleanor Pitts Keck; and his brothers-in-law, Don and Roy Beaver.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tyler Pitts and Kaitlyn Pitts; his daughter-in-law Kim Pitts; and his sister Norma Pitts Beaver. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Colorectal Cancer Alliance that raises awareness, provides support, and inspires the efforts that fund critical research to end colorectal cancer.
