He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Johnson and Howard Johnson; his brother Ray Johnson; and his son John Scott Johnson. He is survived by: his spouse Emalyn "Em" Johnson; his son Jason Johnson (Gaby); his grandchildren, Nicolas Scott Johnson and Delaney McNally; and his siblings, John G. Johnson (Pat) and Linda Weaver. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and so many friends.
