She was predeceased by: her husband Charles F. Carpenter, Jr.; and her sons-in-law, Lee Turberville and Larry Kerr. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Wingo (Nelson), Sue Kerr, Jan Turberville and Charles "Buzz"; her grandchildren, Ashley Kucera (Michael), Bridget Beckum (Sam), John Wingo (Christy), Haden Giddings (Lana), Chad Giddings (Natalie), Chase Turberville (Mary Britton), Paige Crawford (Trent), Codi Dearing (Max) and Marlee Carpenter; her great grandchildren, Keagan, Addison, Brooklyn, Ellie, Callie, Caroline Grace, Catherine, Caden, Gray, Ames, Thompson and Ann Douglas; her friend Ann Luckie; and also Linda Barnes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
