It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Atkins of Ethelsville, Alabama, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne Atkins; and his siblings, Leon Atkins (Ruby), Noel Atkins, Juanita Lipton and Elizabeth Pharo (Marvin).
He is survived by: his children, Carol Yvonne Atkins Weathers of Vernon, Michael Neal Atkins (Andy) of Ellenton, FL and Leslie Kaye Howard Smith (Mike) of Birmingham; his brother Paul Atkins (Linda) of Ethelsville; his sister-in-law Regina Atkins of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Allison Nicole Dove of Columbus, David Roland Smith and Zachary Bryant Smith of Birmingham.
