She was predeceased by: her husband Darvin Tackett; her sons, Randy Tackett and Darvin Tackett, Jr.; her parents, Herbert Heaton and Bonnie Heaton; her siblings, Darrell Heaton, Burie Heaton, Fred Heaton, Garnett Benson and Diane Kiser; and her grandsons, Mark Thomas Snead and Derick James Tackett.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Kennedy (Lee) of Enterprise, AL, Donnie Tackett (Ginny), Teresa Gilmer of Emory, VA and Gary Tackett of Damascus, VA; and her sisters, Dorothy Smith of Lebanon, VA and Cathy Massie of Rosedale, VA.. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; a great-great-great grandson.
