It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Vernon Bruhn of Elberta, Alabama, born in Pensacola, Florida, who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Bruhn and Dorothy Bruhn; and his daughter Mary Elizabeth Bruhn. He is survived by: his wife Octavia Benson; his children, Naomi Bruhn Armendariz (Roberto) of Lafayette, IN, Amanda Bruhn Borders of Lafayette, IN, JoyAnne Bruhn Lozano (Javier) of New Paris, IN and Benjamin Bruhn of Elberta, AL; his grandchildren, Andrew, Abigail Borders, Emma and Anne Lozano; and his sister Karen Zacharis (Ken) of Elberta, AL. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
