He was predeceased by: his children, Michael Edmonson and Deborah Sue Fox; and his brothers, Edward Johnston and Richard Fortner. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Nancy Johnston; his daughters, Cathy Sue Pophan (Mike) of Dallas, GA, Kathryn Sorgenson (Dana) of Jacksonville, FL., Cynthia Johnston of Marietta, GA and Wendy Rich (Ronald) of Smyrna, GA; and his siblings, Linda Whittington (Clinton) of Elberta, AL., Shirley Bruce (Johnny) of Dallas, GA., Wylene Buchanan of Dahlonga, GA. and Hugh Johnston (Rachael) of Lillian, AL.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends.
