He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann Berry; his sons, James Levell Berry and Greg Berry; and his parents, Fannie Merle and L. V. Berry.
He is survived by: his sons, Johnny Berry (Eulene) of Elba, AL and Andy Berry (Tracy) of Ozark, AL; and his siblings, Billy Berry (Janet) of Elba, AL, Ricky Berry (Linda) of Elba, AL and Gail Morris (Edward) of Elba, Alabama.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
