With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille Jones of Elba, Alabama, who passed away on August 20, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ruben S. Jones; her daughter Janie Amberson; and her parents, Cora Pippin and S. S. Pippin. She is survived by: her sons, Joel Henry Jones of Pell City, AL and Ruben Dwayne Jones (Jo Anne) of Elba, AL; her granddaughters, Leigh Ann Medina (Ricardo) of Dothan, AL, Melissa Bowden (Bobby) of Elba, AL, Tammy Brown of Gadsden, AL and Camille Whaley (Matt) of Arab, AL; her half-brother Kenneth Pippin of Charlotte, NC; and her sister Merle Boswell of Lebanon, IL.. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
