He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Morris Towles and Mamie Ethel Seay Towles; and his brother Ned Towles. He is survived by: his daughter Ceretha T. Stricklin Elba (Lee); his grandchildren, Conner Stricklin, Beau Stricklin and Alleigh Stricklin of Elba; and his brother Thomas W. Towles (Jack). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
