It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Shiver (Elba, Alabama), who passed away on May 22, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey D. Shiver and Grace Goodson Shiver; and his sister Thelma Modlin Kelley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Nell Shiver of Jack, AL; his children, Tony D Shiver (Ann) of Jack, AL and Terri Senn (Don) of Jack, AL; his grandchildren, Christopher Senn of Jack, AL, Cori Lane (Johnathon), Shelby Stambeck of Jack, AL, Karen Halsted (Michael) of Jack, AL and Katie Demsey (Jeff) of Dothan, AL; his great grandchildren, Asher, Brooke, Kailey, Taylor, Preston, Caidon and Brawner; and his siblings, Winston Shiver (Betty) of Jack, AL and Erma Green (Joe) of Jack, AL. He is also survived by several Nieces & Nephews.
