He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Scarbrough and Mattie Lee Dawkins; and his brothers, Jerry Dawkins and Roy Douglas Scarbrough. He is survived by: his son Billy Jack Scarbrough (Crystal Hinton); his granddaughter Aryssa Scarbrough of Elba, AL; and his siblings, Charlotte Dawkins Fuller of Opp, AL, Gerald Dawkins (Carol) of Elba, AL, C. P. Dawkins (Joan) and Gary Dawkins (Jeanette) of Jack, Ala.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the New Haven Baptist Church cemetery fund.
