We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2021, at the age of 93, Betty Vaughan (Elba, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myra English Caldwell and James Clyde Caldwell; her husband Oscar Vaughan, Jr.; her daughter Carol Vaughan Kendrick; and her brother Charles G. Caldwell.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jackie Caldwell Wilson of Samson and James R. Caldwell of Bay Minette; her children, Murry Caldwell Vaughan (Ann) and Vicki Vaughan McGehee (Charles) of Birmingham, Alabama; her grandchildren, Kelle Kendrick Masters (Dayne) of Austin, John Frank Kendrick, III of Tyler, Elizabeth McGehee Culpepper (Trey) of Selma, Emily Vaughan Tripp (Heath) of Raleigh, Charlotte Vaughan McGehee of Birmingham and Murry Caldwell Vaughan, Jr. of Asheville; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Haynes, Mills Masters, Ford, Annie Culpepper, Win, Wells, Sellers and Collier Tripp.
