She was predeceased by: her husband William A. Howard; her parents, Earlie Flournoy and Ethel Flournoy; her brother Robert Flournoy; and her grandson Philip Spiers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alice Spiers of Wetumpka, Donna McLain (Danny) of Birmingham and Kathy Sides (Andy) of Eclectic; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Spiers Sederstrom (Jotham), Daniel Spiers, Curt McLain (Erica), Clint McLain (Kelly), Lindsey Norred (Jason), Meredith Hartin (Matt), Kayla Cullars (Kyle) and Jessica Sides. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
