He is survived by: his brother Steve Wakefield; his wife Patricia; his children, Mark Turner (Roxanne), Tim Cockrell (Vicki), David Turner (Bethany) and Vanessa Rice (Dustin); his grandchildren, Drew Turner (Meagan), Matt Turner (Rachel), Scarlet Day (Tyler), Eli Turner (Brianna), Noah Rice, Grant Rice, Kohen Rice, Kyle Wallace (Ashton), Trenton Cockrell, Emily Cockrell, Brice Wells, Brooklyn Wells, Baylor Wells and Brianna Jane Turner; his great grandchildren, Kinleigh Grace, Kaiden Mark and Malakai; and his siblings, Sheila Mitchell (Jerry) and Kenny Turner (Charlotte).
