We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2020, at the age of 97, Lura Ruby Walker Pearson Hunt (Double Springs, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walker and Alma Walker; her former husband Cleo Pearson; her husband John Hunt; and her siblings, Myra Jean Hare, Roberteen Hawk, Virginia Williams, Rosa Nell Williamson, Mary Alice Morris and Farris Walker.
She is survived by: her brother T. J. Millican; her children, Patricia Ramey, Sandra Crowe (Ricky) and Clifton Pearson; her grandchildren, Monica Jacques (Steve), Richard Crowe (Caroline), Lisa Trimm (Slade), Wes McCain (Tina), Daniel Pearson (Christina), Travis Harrant and Holli Gilbert; and her siblings, Dorothy Davis, Marvin Walker (Barbara), Frank Walker (Ann), Johnny Walker (Carol) and Jackie Walker (Margaret). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
