With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hassie Taylor (Double Springs, Alabama), born in Berlin, Georgia, who passed away on January 23, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James W. Taylor, Sr.; her parents, Frank Adams and Estell Croft; and her sister Grace Carter. She is survived by: her brothers, Buford Smith and George Whitten; her children, James W. Taylor, Jr. (Maryann), Frank Ed Taylor, Carol Garrison and Cory Williamson; her grandchildren, Carrie Williams (Darrell), Chris Hyche, Madison Taylor, Mariah Williamson, Jacob Taylor and Jessica Taylor; her great grandchildren, Josh, Ashton, Kyla, Brae, Payte, Weston, Easton and Payton; and her great great grandchildren, Tristen, Piper, Abigail and Everlee.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the Children's Ministry at First Baptist Church Double Springs, Post Office Box 326, Double Springs, Alabama 35553.
