He is survived by: his children, James Austin Whitman and Halie Marie Whitman; his parents, James Whitman and Sandra Whitman; his brother James Nathan Whitman (Holly); his grandmother Marie Whitman; his nephew Grant Whitman; and his niece Natalie Whitman.
