She was predeceased by: her parents, Harcus D. Tew and Gladys Sweatt Tew; her children, Janet Emery and Benjamin Richardson, Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Butler, Alton Carlos Tew and Dr. Earl Tew.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Hall (Jimmy) and Gwen Kolkman (John); and her grandchildren, Amber Hall, Stuart Kolkman and Nathan Kolkman. She is also survived by great granddaughter; nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
