He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Slaughter and Ruby Williford Slaughter; his wife Nellie Myrl Slaughter; his grandson James Wesley Slaughter; his sons, Dennis Slaughter (Kerrie) and Darwin Slaughter (Donna); his grandchildren, Jacob Macfadden (Taylor), Jennifer Macfadden, Ryan Macfadden (Jennifer), Caroline and Abigail Slaughter; and his niece Debbie Jones (Sammy).
He is survived by: his great grandchild Lukas Macfadden.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (225 N Dalton St, Slocomb, AL 36375). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church - Slocomb (225 N Dalton St, Slocomb, AL 36375).
