He was predeceased by: his parents, Reubon J. Knight and Marie Walker Knight; his sons, Adrian Knight and Perry Townsend; and his siblings, Willie Myrl Wright, Barba Joe Knight, Robert Knight and Walter Knight.
He is survived by: his wife Martha N. Knight; his sons, Gregory Townsend (Maranda) and Terrence Townsend (Natalie); his grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Janell, Myles, Chris, Greg Jr., Malcum, Cierra, Jamal, Terrell and Terrance Jr.; his close friends, Annie Lois Lane and Shedrick Jones, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Liam and Kimora; and his sisters, Maggy Knight and Ruby King.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:50 AM at the Southern Heritage Funeral Home (1000 Hodgesville Rd, Dothan, AL 36301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
