He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rose and Emma Rose Sr.; and his brothers, James, Robert and Arthur.
He is survived by: his wife Olivia Simas Rose; his children, Bill Rose (Marilyn), Wayne Rose (Beth), Mary Ann Jordan, Debbie Bailie (Bill) and John Rose; his grandchildren, Cathy Rose Bergenroth (Neil), Karen Rose Valentine (Doug), Brad Gordon, Jill Gordon, Sarah Wright (Shay), Carl Rose (Camilla) and Darren Rose; and his great grandchildren, Emily Bergenroth, Skye Rose, Lennon Rose, Henry Wright and Grace Wright.
A rosary was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the Lord Catholic Church (3910 Spring Ave SW, Decatur, AL 35603). Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at the Roselawn Cemetery Memorial.
