Vida Mae Massey Burgess Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vida Mae Massey Burgess of Deatsville, Alabama, born in Colquitt, Georgia, who passed away on January 28, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Nathan Massey and Vinabelle Elizabeth Fillyaw Massey; her husband Watson Bennie Burgess; her daughter Karen Yvonne Fanning; and her siblings, William James Massey, Eugene Massey, Nora Tucker and Margaret Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Lee Burgess (Jenny) of San Antonio, TX, Christopher Alan Burgess (Dana) of Montgomery, AL, Patricia Marcos (George) of Clayton, NC and Elizabeth Regina Murry of Warner Robins, GA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
