He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Ishmael and Constance Ishmael. He is survived by: his wife Inez Williams Ishmael of Daphne; his children, Gary Allen Ishmael, Jr. (Kara), Suzanne Jarrell (Ronald) of Spanish Fort and Karen Koppersmith (Forrest) of Spanish Fort; his grandchildren, Alexander, Braylan Jarrell, Taylor, Brady Ishmael, Carter and Rory Koppersmith; his sister Anne Ishmael; and also, Amanda Spiegel and Christopher (Nicholas). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
