He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Taft and Virgie Church Baker; his wife Janice McNeill Baker of Cullman; his children, Audrey Ann Hardin (Gregory) of Cullman, Andrea Lynn Lawing of Millers Creek, NC and Charles Andrew Baker (Cecelia) of Lincolnton, NC; and his sisters, Ima Lee Golds (Ray) of Fleetwood, NC and Arlene Goodman (Gale) of Waynesville, NC. He was also cherished by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the 7th Street Baptist Church Remodeling Project.
