She was predeceased by: her parents, David O. Smith and Frances Bichelmeyer Smith; and her siblings, Mike Smith, Barbara Singer and Mary Helen Kirby.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Thomas of Cullman, Alabama, Travis Peel of Cullman, Alabama, Peggy Pethan of Boonville and Angela Carmichael of Boonville; and her siblings, Greg Smith of Slater, Marty Smith of Jamestown, Toni Page of Jamestown and Nancy Fisher of Carolina Beach. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cullman, Alabama in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
