She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Lillian Edith Wyatt Hamm; and her siblings, Louis Hamm, Lena Rice, Juanita Britton, Odell Riley and Margie Hamm.
She is survived by: her husband George Franklin Brummitt; her children, David Brummitt of Childersburg, Alabama, Vickey Fripp of Clayton, Alabama and Ruth Brummitt of Clayton, Alabama; her sister Deane Kellar of Holland, Michigan; her grandchildren, Samantha Mathis (Tyler) of Eufaula and Tyler Brummitt of Auburn, Alabama; and her great grandchild Alexis Mathis.
