She was predeceased by: her parents, J. E. Howse and Velma Grace Howse; her husband Jasper Cary "Jake" Mashburn; her daughter Velma Eileen Mashburn; and her siblings, James Walter Howse, Paul Howse, Daniel Henry Howse, Eulalie Howse Jones, Edwina Howse and Mary Alice Mashburn.
She is survived by: her children, Solomon Mashburn of Salt Point, NY, Jasper E. Mashburn, Janice Mason (Charles), Bettie Bishop (John), Mary Pierce and Gloria Graham (Carl); and her sisters, Betty Lou Edmond of Buckatunna, MS, Lola Grace Campbell and Sarah McCaffrey. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren.
