He is survived by: his daughters, Rachel Hay (Randy Edwards), Micheline Hay Griffith (David) and Diane Southerland; his sister Judy Wesson (Burney); and his grandchildren, Eddie Southerland, Mark Hay (Bonnie), Tabitha Holland (Greg), Ben Sims (Rebecca) and Matt Cox.
