He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rebecca Downs; his children, Sara Veazey (Shay), Hillary Rogers (Brandon), Randy Downs Jr. (Gao) and Austin Downs; his grandchildren, Allen Wilson, Jake Wilson, Ethan Veazey, Kip Rogers, Mason Rogers and Danielle Downs; his siblings, Linda Mitchell (Dewey), Richard Downs (Debbie) and Ricky Downs (Aledra); and his nephew Joshua Downs. He was also cherished by other nieces and nephews.
