He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph William Bishop Sr and Olivia Gash Bishop; and his sister Mary Bishop Callaway. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Bishop (Hincy); his sons, Richard Bishop (Susan) of Vestavia Hills, AL, David Bishop (Michelle) of Gadsden, AL and Paul Bishop (Jennifer) of Gadsden, AL; and his grandchildren, Bret, Jordan, Cooper, Hope, Brandon and Samuel Bishop. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, The Alzheimer's Association, or the family will accept flowers.
