She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Veatrice and John Elmer Patrick; her husband Harmon Ogletree; and her sons, Joseph and John Ogletree.

She is survived by: her children, Marcus Ogletree, Loretta Richardson and Amanda Borden; and her brother Roy Patrick. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
