He was predeceased by: his son Matthew Randall Nix; and his parents, Thomas Nix and Bobbie Nix. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Nix; his girlfriend Diane Merritt; and his siblings, Ricky (Pat), Marvin, Myron (Elaine), Maylon Nix (Kim) and Marilyn Bradford (Glenn). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
