With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lacy Owen Thompson (Cherokee, Alabama), who passed away on March 29, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Thompson and Mae Thompson; his wife Dorothy Caudill Thompson; and his siblings, Dee, Ruby, Edna and Oscar.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Owen Thompson (Donna) and Linda Pope (Steve); and his stepchildren, Carolyn Weaver (Jack), Charles E. Caudill (Jan) and Mark Caudill (Susan). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mhoontown United Methodist Church.
