She is survived by: her children, Shawnette Melton (John), Derrick Welch (Heather) and Michelle Welch Gorman (Daniel); her siblings, Daron Smith (Charlotte) and Robin Wilbanks; and her grandchildren, Morgan, Luke, Hannah, Jordan, James Earl, Raquael, Aaliyah and Piper. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
