It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jean Russell of Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on July 12, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Higginbottom and Delilah Higginbottom; and her siblings, Nellie Sue Sappington, Charlie Mae Young, Hollis Higginbottom, Jr. and Cleston Hue Higginbottom.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Russell Fuller (Mike) and Wanda Russell Rahaim (Billy); her siblings, Harold Wayne Higginbottom, Eva Bradley and Sanna Cedillo; her grandchildren, Michael Joseph Fuller (Kendra), Bradley D. Sprague (Tammy), Kristen Fuller Cardwell (Evan), Brittney Kay Rahaim (Ryan) and Megan Jeanelle Rahaim; and her great grandchildren, Skyla Sprague, Aerial Sprague, Jenna Sprague, Everett Joseph Fuller, Ann Katherine Cardwell (Annie), Ellie Caroline Cardwell, Isiah Black, Lucas Black, Caroline Elizabeth Fuller and Reed Alexander Fuller.
