He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl A. Wells; and his sister Judy Wells. He is survived by: his sons, Charles L. Wells, III (Melissa), Michael O. Wells (Shannon) and Jonathan M. Wells; his parents, Charles Wells and Virginia Wells; his sister Jody Pritchett; his grandchildren, Gunnar, Knox, Carter, Owen and Spencer Wells; his niece Jenny Rendon; and his nephew Pritchett.
