He is survived by: his children, Kay Howard, Norris Thornton (Tina) and Brad Thornton (Fran); his grandchildren, Nickie Roberts (Brandon), Natalie Rene Howard, Kolby Thornton (Taylor), Kyle Patterson Thornton, Ryan Ferguson Thornton and Sadie Claire Thornton; his close friend Linda Fowler; and his sisters, Deloris Blount and Sandra Brown. He is also survived by 3 great-grandsons, and numerous other relatives.
